…the tough gets going

…and now the end is near….no, it’s not a Sinatra’s song, it’s really the end of this riveting season and we have few key matches to play, these match will decide if this season will be remembered for years to come as a triumph or as a massive failure.

Our first match is the FA Cup semifinal vs. Chelsea, Fausto Rossi will be my left winger for this match I have faith in him and he must prove his value, it’s time to grow up.

It was a relly thrilling match, each side had a chance to win but at the end we were able to prevail 3-2, a rewarding win cause we were able to suffer when the match became harder, no fear om my players faces!

Skjelbred with a great curling shot gave us a deserved win.

Our next match was the ECC semifinal at home vs. Arsenal, we’re obliged not to concede, otherwise our second match could become too hard, cause Arsenal at home had a great defensive record, they never concede too much.

I asked Fleck to play as my left winger, due to our usual injuries problems in that role, of course he didn’t disappoint me.

A good 1-0 win was enough for now.

Our away match with Arsenal was a tough one, cause we lost 2-1 to them, but we qualified for the ECC Final on away goals, thanks to John Fleck, again…his late goal gave us the final!

It was time to win the league, we just needed a win in our last 3 games, but I asked my players not to waste any chances  and they hit the big target immediately with a win over Wolves 2-1, with Hulk scoring 2!

We’re the EPL champions two  times in a row, simply great!

And finally the big day arrived, the ECC final, whe we started this travel, 3 years ago, this was our final aim, but we didn’t think to have the chance to win it so early, we have some injuries problems again but we’re ready to cope with them.

We went 3-0 after 20 minutes, we simply demolished them, they tried a comeback but we are the best team in Europe this year!

No more time to celebrate cause the FA Cup final is behind the corner and Arsenal is waiting for us, I know this is already an outstanding season but we’re still hungry and we want the treble.

Hulk was the Mom and really ruled Arsenal but they fought bravely all the match long, but we showed to play better than them and to have one of the best striker of the world.
